Eurovision 1997 – Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, Katrina and The Waves: Love, Shine A Light

Το 1997 νικήτρια χώρα στον διαγωνισμό της eurovision ήταν το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο με τους «Katrina and The Waves» στο τραγούδι «Love, Shine A Light». Το συγκεκριμένο τραγούδι μετά το τέλος του διαγωνισμού δεν γνώρισε ιδιαίτερη επιτυχία. Την ίδια χρονιά η Ελλάδα συμμετείχε στον διαγωνισμό με ερμηνευτή τον Ζορμπά στο τραγούδι «Χόρεψε«, όπου και κατέλαβε την 12η θέση.
