Eurovision 2011

Το 1998 στον διαγωνισμό της eurovision νικήτρια χώρα ήταν το Ισραήλ και το τραγούδι «Diva». Την ίδια χρονιά η Ελλάδα δεν θα λέγαμε ότι πήγε πολύ καλά, αφού κατέλαβε την 20η θέση, με το τραγούδι «Μια κρυφή ευαισθησία».

Στο διαγωνισμό της eurovision το 1999 νικήτρια ήταν η Charlotte Nilsson από την Σουηδία με το τραγούδι «take me to your heaven». Την ίδια χρονιά η Ελλάδα δεν πήρε μέρος στον διαγωνισμό.

Το 2000 στον διαγωνισμό της eurovision νικήτρια χώρα ήταν η Δανία, με τους Olsen Brothers και το τραγούδι «Fly On The Wings Of Love». Αξιοσημείωτο όμως είναι το γεγονός ότι το τραγούδι αυτό δεν ακούστικε ιδιαίτερα μετά την κατάκτηση της πρώτης θέσης στον διαγωνισμό καθώς ξεχάστηκε πολύ γρήγορα. Εκείνη την χρονιά η Ελλάδα δεν είχε συμμετάσχει στον διαγωνισμό.
